Nicole is the Chairwoman for Heart Failure Warriors Northern Ireland. She is 45yrs of age and was relatively fit and healthy with no under lying problems except mild asthma but was then diagnosed with heart failure, which came as a complete shock...........

Tommy is volunteering as IT Support for HFWNI. He is originally from Co. Louth, but has been living in Mullaghbawn for the past few years with his wife Gail and her daughter Gemma.

In January 2023, he experienced a sudden and unexpected shortness of breath at home...

Claire is the Treasurer for Heart Failure Warriors NI.

At the age of 39, towards the end of her pregnancy, Claire developed shortness of breath and increased swelling and fluid.... 

Sharon was diagnosed with heart failure reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF) in September 2022. Sharon had covid the Christmas before and wasn’t recovering, she developed clots in both her lungs and even though they had dissolved she was still very symptomatic........

In 2014 at the age of 45,  Andy suffered a heart attack which resulted in Heart Failure. Whilst able to return to work and live an active life his symptoms progressively became worse and in 2022 he was referred to the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle Upon Tyne for a Heart Transplant assessment....
