Northern Ireland Confederation for Health and Social Care

NICON25 brought together hundreds of HSC leaders and partners to share ideas and optimism, reflect on progress, network, and learn. The overarching theme of the conference and exhibition was 'Reset | Shaping Health and Social Care for the Future'. The event took place at a critical juncture, following on from the publication of the Health and Social Care Reset Plan in July 2025. 

At the conference, delegates considered how to take forward the priorities set out in the Reset Plan and Minister Nesbitt's three-year strategic plan for health and social care in the context of unprecedented financial pressures.  Over the course of a day and a half, they examined the challenges and opportunities associated with implementing a system-wide HSC reset as they seek to deliver four strategic shifts: from treatment to prevention, hospital to community, analogue to digital, and people to partners. 

During the conference, delegates had the opportunity to visit over 50 exhibitors, one of them being Heart Failure Warriors NI.
