“Women’s Cardiovascular Health”, Dublin, Ireland

Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the leading cause of death in women worldwide. Too often, women’s symptoms are misinterpreted or overlooked due to a lack of awareness about how CVD presents differently in women. Urgent global action is required to stop this and improve the screening, diagnosis and treatment journey for women with CVD.

We thoroughly enjoyed Global Heart Hub’s 5th Unite Annual Summit. Were experts from around the world united together to highlight issues around women’s cardiovascular health, from patients with lived experience to clinicians, policy makers and key opinion leaders, to turn insight into action and improve treatment and care for women living with cardiovascular disease.  

Nicole had the opportunity to meet an AI robot named Deckard! The humanoid robot developed by the HIVE Lab at University of Galway.

Deckard’s purpose is to help spark conversations around improving human mental and physical health.
